Sales Representative / INTAKE SPECIALIST at Distro – Medellín del Carmen, Chiapas

Job description: We’re looking for a Legal Intake Specialist who can confidently handle incoming calls, screen potential clients, and schedule paid consultations. This is a sales-oriented position that also includes administrative responsibilities. You’ll be the first point of contact for many prospective clients and play a key role in helping them take the next step.

Responsabilities:

• Schedule paid consultations for prospective clients with attorneys. • Screen incoming calls to determine if cases align with the firm’s practice areas. • Use sales techniques to build rapport, explain services, and overcome objections. • Collect payment before booking any consultation. • Take detailed notes while actively listening to callers. • Follow up with leads from web forms, referrals, and phone inquiries. • Draft and send emails with proper grammar and spelling — no templates. • Maintain accurate data and reports related to prospective clients. • Occasionally transfer non-intake calls to the appropriate team member.

Skills : • At least 1 year of sales experience. • Excellent English writing and grammar (no proofreading support). • Strong active listening skills and the ability to control and guide conversations. • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute while talking. • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook. • A closer mentality — able to guide potential clients toward booking and paying for consultations. • Professional, empathetic tone — able to connect without losing control of the call. • Experience in the legal industry or with family law. • CRM or case management software experience.
