Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Machine Operator to support our aseptic production line in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating downstream equipment, maintaining product quality, and ensuring safe, efficient production. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined operator who thrives in a high-volume production setting and is comfortable troubleshooting equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor downstream equipment including packers, labelers, and palletizers
• Set up machines, perform changeovers, and verify correct materials and program settings
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
• Perform in-process quality checks, collect samples, and inspect finished products
• Accurately record production data, downtime, and faults in the Sherlock system
• Follow all GMP, safety protocols, and start-up/shutdown procedures
• Assist with mold changeovers and equipment adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, completing required sanitation and housekeeping tasks

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment (food/beverage preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment
• Comfortable using computers and production tracking systems
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying environments (hot, cold, humid production areas)
