A day in the life...
The Restaurant Supervisor at Cuvée Bistro plays a critical role in delivering a refined, approachable coastal dining experience aligned with Relais & Châteaux and Forbes service standards. This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership position responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and strong team execution.
This role requires an individual who leads by example, maintains a strong presence on the floor, and supports both front- and back-of-house teams in delivering consistent, high-level hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Service Execution
- Lead daily service with a constant presence on the floor
- Ensure all guests are greeted, engaged, and recognized in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor pacing, table maintenance, and overall service flow
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, coach, and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
- Reinforce service standards, appearance, and professionalism
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of team members
- Hold team members accountable for attendance, punctuality, and performance
Operational Execution
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Ensure proper staffing levels and coverage throughout service
- Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain communication and execution standards
- Support POS (Toast) operations, including troubleshooting and accuracy
Financial & Performance Awareness
- Support initiatives to drive revenue, including wine and beverage sales
- Monitor check averages and encourage upselling through proper service techniques
- Maintain awareness of labor productivity and efficiency
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Noble House, Forbes, and Relais & Châteaux service standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across all areas
- Support compliance with Massachusetts labor laws and company policies
You own this if you have…
- 2–4 years of experience in a restaurant leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in upscale, boutique hotel or fine dining environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
