As Managing Director, you will:
- Define the vision and roadmap for IT Managed Services offerings, from ideation and MVP development to full market launch.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback to ensure strong product-market fit.
- Lead agile development cycles for service features and operational improvements, embracing rapid iteration.
- Manage proof-of-concept projects and initial client deployments to validate and refine service delivery.
- Drive sales growth, manage pipelines, respond to RFPs, and close deals with technical expertise and client presentations.
- Build, mentor, and lead onshore and offshore teams for scalable operations and 24/7 coverage.
- Oversee daily service delivery, ensuring alignment with SLAs, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years in IT managed services or IT outsourcing, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of IT managed services, including application, network, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity management.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as AIOps, cloud monitoring, and automation scripting.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or pre-sales engineering in IT services.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams (onshore/offshore).
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to drive initiatives independently.
- Superior leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, adapt to market changes, and scale services rapidly.
- Competitive salary range: USD $180,000 – $220,000 per year.
