About This Position

Description:

The Inventory Processing Associate - Weekends, at DTXT- LotsofAuctions.com, plays a key role in preparing items for our online auctions. This position involves inspecting, accurately identifying, sorting, barcoding, and listing products in our database.

This job is a great fit for people who have worked on a production line or in quality control. You will be a key player in ensuring smooth online auctions by carefully inspecting and listing products.

This position supports multiple areas of warehouse operations, including picking, packing as well as inventory processing. Responsibilities may shift throughout the day based on business needs. Team members are expected to be flexible, cross-trained, and willing to assist in different departments to support overall productivity.

Schedule: Friday through Sunday 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 3 x12, with an hour lunch break, Non climate controlled warehouse

Requirements:
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks successfully opening boxing, inspecting items, using handheld devices to take photos
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
  • Proficient with computers, navigating the internet, websites and computer programs.
  • Able to meet daily production and quality targets
  • Ability to lift and move hundreds of items daily ranging from 10lb-50lb
  • Willingness to be cross-trained and work in multiple areas of the warehouse
  • Flexible and team-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Correctly identify items based on appearance, function and/or online description
  • Properly enter items in an online database
  • Maintain adherence to departmental key performance indicators (KPI) communicated by management on a consistent basis after training is completed.
  • Willingness and ability to work in different areas of the warehouse as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for Long Periods: Ability to stand and be on your feet for 10+ hours a day
  • Working in Extreme Weather Conditions: Must be comfortable working indoors during summer and winter months when temperatures vary
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and assist with team lifts of items heavier than 50 lbs as needed.
  • Team Lifting: Collaborating with other team members to safely move large and bulky items

Salary: $17 per hourEligible for Benefits After Completing 90 Probationary Period :
