This role sits at the intersection of HR, data, and technology, leading the strategy and execution of advanced people analytics within a large, complex enterprise environment. You will be responsible for shaping how workforce data is transformed into actionable insights that drive better business and people decisions. Acting as a key partner to HR, Finance, and Technology leaders, you will help evolve Workday into a scalable, insights-driven platform. The position blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic influence, requiring both deep analytics capability and strong stakeholder engagement. You will design and deliver dashboards, predictive models, and reporting frameworks that support the full employee lifecycle. In a fast-paced, data-driven setting, your work will directly improve visibility, decision-making, and organizational effectiveness.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and governance of people analytics and HR systems capabilities, primarily within Workday, ensuring data integrity and meaningful insights across the enterprise. You will build scalable reporting and analytics solutions while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Design and implement advanced people analytics solutions using Workday Prism, Discovery Boards, and composite reporting to deliver actionable workforce insights
- Translate complex HR and business questions into dashboards, scorecards, and analytical models for leaders and executive stakeholders
- Collect, validate, and analyze workforce data from multiple systems (e.g., Workday, payroll, integrations) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Establish data standards, reporting governance, and definitions to ensure consistency, reliability, and trust in HR analytics outputs
- Partner with IT and integration teams to ensure accurate, secure, and high-performing data flows across HR systems
- Monitor and continuously improve HR data integrations, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance
- Develop and maintain workforce analytics products spanning recruitment, retention, engagement, performance, and other HR domains
- Deliver insights and recommendations that support organizational initiatives and improve people experience and business outcomes
This role requires strong technical expertise in HR systems, especially Workday, combined with deep analytical capabilities and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. You should bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in HR data and analytics environments.
- 8+ years of experience in HR Systems, People Analytics, or related fields with strong Workday HCM expertise
- Hands-on experience with Workday reporting tools including advanced, matrix, and composite reporting
- Strong experience with Workday Prism Analytics and people analytics capabilities
- Proficiency with data visualization tools and workforce analytics dashboards
- Experience working with HR data, including understanding of HR processes and lifecycle metrics
- Familiarity with integrations (e.g., Workday Studio, Core Connectors) and HR data architecture
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data manipulation skills, including data cleaning and validation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leadership
- Business and financial acumen, with experience supporting high-volume or retail environments considered a plus
- Competitive annual base salary range: $130,600 – $233,300 (depending on experience and location)
