Overview

Lutron is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Trade Specialist to join the Trade Compliance team at our Annex office location in Center Valley, PA. This role is focused on supporting the execution and integrity of post-entry trade processes, including audit support, reconciliation activities, and financial transactions with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

The Trade Specialist will play a hands-on role in managing compliance documentation, monitoring import activity, and ensuring accurate processing of duties, refunds, and amendments. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain compliance, resolve discrepancies, and support ongoing regulatory requirements across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all filing, recordkeeping, tracking, payments, and logging related to refunds and bills issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
  • Maintain and update compliance audit spreadsheets to support internal reviews and followup actions
  • Conduct detailed audits of import activities across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union to ensure accuracy
  • Support the preparation of documentation and supplemental materials for the company’s Reconciliation Program
  • Monitor quantity discrepancies into US warehouse facilities, preparing and submitting necessary amendments to CBP
  • Validate and process U.S. ACH payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Contribute to the preparation and analytical review of data used in the quarterly U.S. SelfAssessment process
  • Provide coverage and support for postentry activities as needed
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to all applicable trade laws, regulations, and company policies


Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with U.S. Customs documentation and import regulations required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
