Shuttle Driver in Lethbridge, Alberta at Davis GMC Buick

Davis GMC Buick is seeking our next great team member to join as a Shuttle Driver! This is a part-time position, which will require the successful candidate to work each Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm and each Saturday from 8:00am to 5:0pm (2 days per week)

As a Shuttle Driver, you are responsible for driving the company shuttle vehicle to safely transport customers to and from their destinations. You may also be required to pick up/deliver mail, bank deposits, and other items around town when necessary. The successful candidate in this role will receive $16.00 per hour.

Job Duties:

• Drive the dealership shuttle vehicle to safely transport customers to and from their destination.
• Pick up/delivery of parts, mail, packages, vehicles etc. when necessary
• Assist the Service Department in various tasks such as moving vehicles out of the service lane after check-in, emptying garbage bins, cleaning the service drive-thru and maintaining overall cleanliness in the department.
• Engage in regular communication via phone with Reception / Service Lane for customer pick-up and drop-off
• Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle vehicle and report any vehicle faults to management
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract is mandatory
• Ability to easily interact with all customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Comfortability with the use of operating a GPS within the vehicle
• Ability to perform general physical labor tasks such as shoveling, lifting tires, parts, etc. up to 30lbs or more
• Have a high attention to detail with focus on overall department cleanliness and assisting in various duties
• Possess good general understanding of Lethbridge streets and businesses
