Per Diem Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator New England PTTC (ADEPT Maine)
TEMPORARY June - Oct 2026 - Per Diem (up to 25 hours/week)
Position Summary
The Per Diem Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator provides support for the development, coordination, and dissemination of New England PTTC technical assistance tools, resources, and programs. This role works closely with PTTC leadership and team members to assist with priority projects, contribute to program implementation, and support training and event activities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and dissemination of New England PTTC technical assistance tools and resources
- Assist in identifying and completing technical assistance requests
- Contribute to the coordination of short-term work groups to gather input from prevention professionals and partners
- Support coordination with content experts and consultants, as needed
- Assist in implementing dissemination and promotion strategies for tools and resources
- Assist in programming such as staffing meetings for North Star Mentoring Program and PTTC Fellows Program
- Program Coordination & Support
- Provide support for intensive technical assistance programs
- Support coordination of the North Star Mentoring Program, including communication and tracking activities
- General PTTC Support
- Participate in New England PTTC team meetings and relevant coordination meetings, as appropriate
- Provide limited support for internship coordination, as needed
- Represent the New England PTTC in meetings, workgroups, or events, as appropriate and availability allows
Training & Event Support
- Support the planning and implementation of workshops, conferences, and learning opportunities for the prevention workforce
- Assist with training logistics for events such as the New England Summer School and School of Best Practices
- Provide customer service and participant support via phone and email
- Assist with event preparation, including developing materials, managing registration elements, and supporting virtual or in-person event logistics
- Provide on-site or virtual event support, including participant and presenter assistance
Administrative & Evaluation Support
- Assist with data entry and basic tracking related to evaluation and reporting requirements
- Support the preparation of reports and documentation for federal funders
- Assist with outreach activities such as tabling at regional events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in substance use prevention, public health, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience supporting trainings, events, or technical assistance activities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Able to be in the Augusta, Maine office at least once per week - Tuesdays
Additional Information
· This is a per diem position (up to 25 hours/week)
· Schedule may vary based on project and event needs
· Some travel may be required for regional events
· This position is available until September 29, 2026
Rate: $28/hour up to 25hrs/week
Estimated start date: June 15, 2026
