Bunker Hill Community College seeks a qualified Part-Time Pitching Coach to support the development of its emerging softball program. The individual in this role will provide specialized instruction to student-athletes and assist in the overall implementation of the softball program in alignment with institutional and NJCAA standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct pitching-focused training sessions that emphasize mechanics, consistency, and situational strategy.
• Provide individualized instruction and performance evaluations for pitchers.
• Assist the Head Coach with practice planning, game preparation, and in-game pitching decisions.
• Contribute to the recruitment and assessment of prospective student-athletes.
• Maintain accurate and timely communication regarding athlete progress, expectations, and program standards.
• Ensure adherence to college, conference, and NJCAA compliance requirements.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful environment that supports the academic and athletic development of a diverse student population.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Competitive playing experience as a pitcher at the secondary and collegiate levels.
• Coaching experience at the secondary and/or collegiate levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills.

Additional Information:

Salary: $4,000 total for the season. The position will be paid in installments throughout the season.
