We are seeking a highly motivated Developer with strong technical depth and exceptional communication skills to join our Technology team. In this role, you will work closely with quantitative analysts and front, middle, and back-office partners to design and build greenfield applications that support trading, analytics, operations, and the broader investment lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creative problem-solving, and is driven to execute quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain internal applications and data pipelines leveraging excellent Python and SQL skills.
- Build intuitive, efficient user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with quants and business stakeholders to rapidly scope, design, and implement greenfield solutions that address emerging and evolving needs.
- Use pandas and related data tools for data transformation, analytics, and reporting.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor to improve productivity and code quality.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure reliability and performance across applications and data workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and best practices to support maintainable and scalable software.
- Apply creativity, quick thinking, and initiative to identify new project opportunities and drive them from concept to delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of relevant software development experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in Python and SQL, including working with complex datasets and building clean, reliable code.
- Familiarity with React, JavaScript, or general front-end development concepts.
- Comfort working with pandas or similar data manipulation libraries.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and core data structures.
- Preference for candidates with exposure to Snowflake or Databricks.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a self-driven mindset.
- Willingness to learn financial concepts, systems, and investment workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Beacon
- Knowledge of fixed income, trading workflows, or experience working in a trading firm.
- Previous exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Interest in capital markets, insurance products, or asset management technology.
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
