IT Healthcare Technical Application Analyst I at Goshen Health – Goshen, Indiana

The Healthcare Technical Application Analyst I is an entry-level position that provides technical support for health IT Applications. This person will assist in the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of healthcare applications, ensuring their optimal performance in a clinical and operational setting.

The Healthcare Technical Application Analyst I works directly under the supervision of the IT Manager, Data Management Services, and is responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing healthcare IT applications within the organization. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of healthcare systems to ensure the effective functioning of medical, clinical and administrative software applications. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare providers, IT colleagues, and vendors to optimize the usage of healthcare technology in alignment with organization’s goals. They work closely with stakeholders to meet specific business and technical requirements and serves as a strategic departmental Colleague.

Accountability is measured by performance evaluation, project goal achievement within stated time frame as well as work plan completion. Work schedule may include hours other than Monday through Friday or regular office hours. Work schedule includes taking On Call after hours support for the organization as needed.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education: Associate degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.) – 3 years of related experience may be substituted for some or all education.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.). Any type of Healthcare IT Certifications.

Minimum Experience: One year of experience in Information Technology in a healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience: Two years in Information Technology with at least one year in a directly related position.
