Scope
The Talent Program Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and execution of enterprise talent and organizational effectiveness programs at Boise Cascade. This role serves as the operational backbone of key people programs, ensuring initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, mentoring, and employee voice surveys are delivered consistently, on time, and with high quality.
The role focuses on coordination, project management administration, and execution, while strategic direction and program design are provided by Talent & Organizational Effectiveness COE leadership.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day execution of organizational effectiveness programs, including performance management, succession planning, mentoring programs, and employee voice surveys.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned programs, ensuring timelines, communications, and deliverables are met.
- Support and manage project plans for program cycles, including milestones, dependencies, and stakeholder inputs.
- Track program progress, risks, and issues; proactively surface and resolve execution challenges.
- Partner with HR, business leaders, and vendors to support smooth deployment and adoption of programs.
- Prepare program materials, toolkits, and communications to support leaders and associates during program rollouts.
- Maintain documentation, schedules, and reporting for assigned programs.
- Support continuous improvement of program processes based on feedback and outcomes.
- Ensure program execution aligns with the strategic direction set by the Talent & Organizational Effectiveness Director.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating or managing projects or programs with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience supporting the execution of structured programs or processes (e.g., HR programs, operations programs, or business initiatives).
- High attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to coordinate across teams and prepare clear program materials.
- Comfort working in a highly operational, execution-focused role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting talent or organizational effectiveness programs (performance management, succession planning, mentoring, engagement surveys, or similar).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide program rollouts or change initiatives.
- Experience working in large, distributed, or frontline-heavy organizations.
