Schedule: Days 7a - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday, every other weekend and holiday
SUMMARY:

As a Shahbaz, you are responsible for assisting our residents with a wide range of their daily needs and undertakings. In addition to direct patient care, they are responsible for meal preparation, house cleaning and various recreational activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patient Care. Provide and assist with all aspects of daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing and comfort care; maintain a safe and attractive environment at all times

• Meal Preparation. Prepare meals based on Food Production Sheet and create alternative choices to meet patients’ preference and nutritional needs; ensure all kitchen logs are in compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations; maintain a safe and sanitary environment

• Housekeeping. Monitor housekeeping and laundry logs daily; coordinate cleaning schedules

• Activity Management. Follow Recreation Community Calendar for daily plan, and check with patients for any activity preference; coordinate with the team and implement morning and afternoon activities daily; facilitate community outings; document all activities in Caretracker
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $19.40 - $20.60

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
