PURPOSE
The Director of Enterprise Delivery & Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for strengthening Aurora Plans’ ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution.
This role leads the enterprise delivery function that ensures Aurora Plans’ most critical operational, technology, and transformation initiatives are effectively prioritized, coordinated, and executed. The Director establishes the governance, visibility, and accountability needed to manage a complex portfolio and achieve measurable outcomes.
Serving as a trusted partner to executive leadership, the Director ensures initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities, supported by clear accountability structures, and monitored through disciplined performance reporting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Enterprise Delivery Leadership
Lead Enterprise Delivery and PMO function as a strategic capability supporting organizational execution.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into structured initiatives and coordinated workstreams.
- Build strong relationships across clinical, operational, technology, and administrative functions to support coordinated execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop PMO staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.
Strategy Execution & Enterprise Initiative Delivery
Drive Aurora Plans’ highest priority initiatives to successful completion.
- Provide oversight and coordination for complex cross-functional initiatives, including operational improvements, technology implementations, and strategic transformation efforts.
- Ensure initiatives are clearly scoped, resourced, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate work across departments to manage dependencies and maintain progress.
- Support leaders in resolving barriers to execution and maintaining accountability for results.
Enterprise Portfolio Management & Prioritization
Strengthen organizational discipline in prioritizing and managing initiatives.
- Lead the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of initiatives across Aurora Plans.
- Partner with leadership to ensure organizational resources are focused on initiatives with the greatest strategic impact.
- Provide visibility into portfolio capacity, competing priorities, and resource requirements.
- Maintain a centralized view of initiatives to ensure coordination and avoid duplication.
Governance, Performance Metrics & Leadership Reporting
Provide leadership with clear insight into organizational execution and initiative performance.
- Establish governance structures that support oversight of key initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Develop reporting tools and metrics that provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Support enterprise KPI alignment by linking initiatives to strategic goals and measurable performance indicators.
- Prepare executive and trustee-level reporting that provides transparency into progress and impact.
Risk Management and Decision Support
Improve Aurora Plans’ ability to identify risks early and respond effectively.
- Implement structured processes to identify, track, and escalate risks across the enterprise initiative portfolio.
- Provide leadership with actionable insights into risks, dependencies, and impacts.
- Facilitate timely decision-making by presenting clear analysis and recommended paths forward.
- Strengthen the organization’s overall discipline in proactive risk identification and resolution.
Organizational Execution Capability
Strengthen how Aurora Plans structure and deliver complex work across the enterprise.
- Establish practical frameworks and guidance that improve execution, coordination, and accountability.
- Support initiative leaders and teams in delivering results through improved planning, alignment, and collaboration.
Leadership Capabilities
Demonstrates the leadership qualities required to execute strategy and deliver results.

- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing PMO professionals.

- Oversee staffing, training, and professional development.

- Plans, analyzes, and evaluates programs and services, operational needs, and fiscal constraints.
- Supervises, leads, and delegates work and coaches, mentors, develops employees.
- Analyzes problems, identifies, and develops alternative solutions, projects consequences of proposed actions, and implements recommendation/solutions.
- Recommends hires and promotions, directs, and evaluates employment decisions for all assigned positions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Years of Experience and Knowledge
- 10+ years of experience leading complex enterprise initiatives or transformation programs.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing project management or delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience building or evolving a PMO, enterprise delivery, or transformation office.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional operational or technology transformation initiatives.
- Consulting or advisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery approaches.
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Project Management Institute certification (PMP or similar) preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate complex challenges into actionable insights.
- Strong facilitation, prioritization, and organizational coordination skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple complex initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Travel: Approximately 10-15%.

Salary range for this position: $153,600 ~ $195,900. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday ~ Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week).
