This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and drive enterprise application strategy across multiple functions, including HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations. You will oversee a growing team of managers and analysts while leading platform governance, vendor relationships, and strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business value. With responsibility for enterprise systems such as HRIS, CRM, ERP, and Work Management/ITSM platforms, this position combines technical expertise, operational excellence, and strategic influence. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities, drive major programs, and ensure compliance and operational efficiency. - Define and own enterprise application strategy and multi-year roadmap across HRIS, CRM, ERP, Work Management/ITSM, and Tier 2 tools
- Align platform investments with business priorities in partnership with functional leaders and corporate IT management
- Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage
- Lead business case development for new platform investments, including executive-level presentations and ROI analysis
- Serve as primary IT partner for HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations leadership, translating complex business needs into actionable technology strategies
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment on platform decisions, priorities, and change impacts
- Lead, develop, and support managers and their teams, including scaling the organization from 20 to 30+ team members
- Manage vendor relationships, contract renewals, licensing optimization, and performance oversight
- Establish governance frameworks for application change management, release management, and platform standards
- Drive delivery of major programs such as integrations, implementations, and merger-related application consolidations
- Ensure application environments meet audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA)
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise applications, IT leadership, or business technology roles
- 4+ years in a director-level or senior leadership role, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing managers
- Deep familiarity with HRIS, ERP, CRM, and Work Management/ITSM enterprise platforms
- Demonstrated experience in application strategy and roadmap ownership at an organizational level
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, communicate, and build credibility with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders
- Experience managing complex vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and escalations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs, including integrations and application implementations
- Healthcare or SaaS industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading application strategy through mergers, acquisitions, or post-merger integration initiatives
- Familiarity with integration architecture, middleware platforms, ITIL-aligned frameworks, and SOC 2 / HIPAA-regulated environments
- Competitive base salary of $200,000 to $225,000, with final compensation determined by skills and experience
