About This Position
Position Title: EVS/lnventory Control Manager
Department: Gaming
Reports To: Chief Operations Officer, Gaming
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: Responsible for the successful overall direction, administration, and coordination of all activities of the EVS/Inventory Control department at the multiple properties in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and controls of the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the logistical flow of goods by verifying, recording and processing incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Receiving; Unloading shipments, inspect for damage, verifying contents against invoice.
- Documentation: Shipping records, filing of invoices and bill of landing documents.
- Make sure that the correct department gets the shipment of goods and the department manager is notified of shipment.
- All inventory in storage is recorded correctly for count and description of item.
- Communication with all department Directors, Managers and Casino General Managers.
- Storage containers must stay organized with in/out inventory logs for all items.
- All properties have the supplies they need to operate daily.
- Pick up and deliver all mail daily.
- Ordering and delivery of EVS supplies for all properties.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all properties including BOH and TDC offices.
- Maintain all logs stay correct and up to date.
- Must do a quarterly Inventory of all items for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Responsible for all EVS team members to include scheduling, payroll, PTO approval and team member recognition and progressive discipline when needed at all locations.

- Microsoft Office includes Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Be accomplished in Tracking, Inventory Logs, Shipping and Deliveries.
- Able to establish effective relationships with all levels of management within and outside of the company.
- Able to remain professional and organized and detail oriented.
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team, with the desire to assist with varying needs within the group.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Must be able to handle and communicate confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Be motivated and a self-starter.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or a GED. Have experience with Inventory control, Hazardous materials, cleaning supplies, Loading and unloading equipment. Management or casino supervisory experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Key gaming license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ensures compliance with company standards, processes, and policies in all tasks.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must maintain professional behavior and always possess exceptional guest and employee service skills. Ability to effectively lead, organize, and manage people while displaying successful team leadership skills required.
