This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Engineer, Solutions Engineering in the United States.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the end-to-end development of customer-focused engineering solutions, bridging client vision with technical execution. You will operate in a highly visible technical leadership capacity, defining requirements, guiding system architecture, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet complex business objectives. The position requires a T-shaped engineer with deep expertise in at least one technical domain and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. By leading multiple projects from concept through implementation, you will directly impact mission-critical deliverables and help shape innovative engineering outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys translating client needs into actionable, high-impact technical solutions.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for clients, managing the project lifecycle from contract signing through closeout.
  • Translate client objectives into a technical roadmap, balancing technical feasibility, cost, and schedule constraints.
  • Define clear, verifiable system requirements to guide engineering execution and ensure deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and design teams, fostering systems thinking and problem-solving excellence.
  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure robust, scalable, and buildable solutions.
  • Bridge the gap between client vision and internal engineering teams, ensuring seamless priority management and execution across projects.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements negotiations, and technical reviews to maintain alignment and project quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, hardware development, or solutions engineering, preferably in aerospace, medical devices, industrial, or consumer electronics.
  • Strong expertise in systems engineering principles, including system architecture, interface definition, and requirements management.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical scope into actionable schedules and execution plans for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep knowledge in at least one of these areas: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, embedded software, or integration and test.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation, stakeholder communication, and client-facing interactions.
  • Preferred: experience facilitating technical workshops, leading requirements negotiations, and translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $154,080 – $187,100 USD plus equity incentive plan.
  • Flexible work hours with work-from-home options.
  • 100% employer-paid health insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) for employees and 50% coverage for dependents.
  • Unlimited paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and 12 paid sick days annually.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching (Safe Harbor 4%).
  • Generous paid parental leave and relocation assistance if moving 50+ miles for the role.
  • On-site perks including EV charging ports, catered lunches, snacks, and accessible kitchen facilities.
