Job Summary
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and providing leadership to the office team. This role ensures that office procedures align with company policies, supports cross-functional activities, and maintains efficient, compliant, and cost-effective office operations. The Office Manager works closely with leadership to support administrative, financial, and facility-related needs while fostering a professional and effective work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, training, and supervision to the office staff
- Support sales, marketing, and division activities and events, including literature coordination, trade shows, advertisements, and group event planning
- Ensure office operations are conducted efficiently, appropriately, and in a cost-effective manner
- Develop, improve, and maintain office systems, processes, and best practices
- Manage office supply inventory and oversee supply efficiency initiatives
- Assist leadership in ensuring organizational processes remain legally compliant
- Coordinate with leadership on facility maintenance and office-related services
- Support leadership efforts to ensure branch compliance with health and safety policies
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Liaise with the Payroll Department at the USSCO location
- Utilize standard office equipment and technology to support administrative functions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business-related education (such as an associates degree in business) preferred
- 13 years of relevant office management or administrative experience
- Strong working knowledge of MS Windows and Microsoft Office products, with the ability to train others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with employees, vendors, and other branch offices
- Ability to manage rapidly changing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Ability to process complex, time-sensitive information from multiple sources and make sound decisions
- Experience using standard office equipment and administrative systems
