About This Position
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, FP&A, will lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic financial insights, managing the budgeting process, and supporting senior management in decision-making. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure financial goals are met, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process/efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate has experience supporting a food manufacturing company and has a well-developed appreciation for data integrity and financial processes. They will be proactive in identifying, developing, and driving operational excellence and reliable analyses to support the company's growth and profitability objectives. The Senior Manager will report to the Director of Finance and will be a key member of the Corporate Finance/FP&A team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyze monthly financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial process and increase efficiency.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting:
- Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts (IS/BS/CF) to inform decision-making.
- Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Oversee the SG&A budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business priorities.
- Work with department heads to track expenditures, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure that financial controls/process is in place to monitor and manage costs effectively.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor Finance Manager, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment, ensuring the team delivers high-quality work on time.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on financial/FP&A goals.
- Create executive-level presentation materials to communicate/share financial results and strategic recommendations to senior management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience in FP&A, with involvement in financial analysis, management reporting and budgeting/forecasting.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage a cross functional project, multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $175,000 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
