In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of a large-scale internal platform that powers mission-critical systems across a highly distributed engineering organization. You will operate at the core of infrastructure innovation, enabling teams to build, deploy, and scale services with speed, reliability, and security. As a senior technical leader, you will shape architecture, define standards, and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on in development. The environment is global, remote-first, and deeply technical, with a strong focus on automation, observability, and developer experience. You will work on complex distributed systems, modern cloud-native technologies, and advanced infrastructure challenges. • Own and evolve the internal developer platform, including Kubernetes, observability, secrets management, and delivery systems
• Architect and build scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure components, addressing multi-tenancy, networking, and storage challenges
• Develop platform tooling, services, and APIs using Go and/or Python in a production environment
• Enable self-service infrastructure through reusable modules, templates, and automation frameworks
• Scale and optimize Kubernetes clusters across cloud and hybrid environments
• Strengthen platform security through robust access controls, encryption, and compliance practices
• Implement and maintain compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2 Type II) and ensure audit readiness
• Integrate and promote AI-driven tools to enhance engineering productivity and operational efficiency
• Lead technical direction, mentor engineers, and promote best practices across teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business and technical needs
• Contribute to incident response and continuous reliability improvements

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering, including senior or staff-level responsibilities
• Strong software engineering skills in Go and/or Python with experience building production-grade systems
• Proven expertise in designing and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (cloud-managed and bare-metal) and container orchestration
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) and hybrid infrastructure setups
• Strong background in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.) and CI/CD systems
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices
• Experience with infrastructure security, compliance frameworks, and zero-trust architectures
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in engineering workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives across distributed teams
