Job Summary:
The Planogram (POG) Category Analyst supports merchandising execution by analyzing planogram data and identifying layout trends. This role works collaboratively with category managers and layout teams to ensure accurate planogram placement and layout consistency across store formats.

Core Functions:
- Planogram Analysis
- Review planogram data to identify layout trends and opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating planogram effectiveness across store formats.
- Collaboration & Support
- Partner with commodity managers and layout teams to ensure planogram accuracy.
- Provide input on layout adjustments based on data insights.
- Execution & Documentation
- Support layout documentation and updates.
- Maintain records of planogram versions and store-specific applications.
- May also be responsible for POG creation and execution.
Education and Experience:
- College degree preferred.
- Retail experience required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to be able to operate autonomously, with strong personal drive for results.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear and concise correspondence.
- Ability to accurately exchange information.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
