As a Nursing Tech, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting nurses by providing direct patient care such as assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, positioning, ambulating, toileting, meal assistance, recording vital signs). Additional responsibilities include communication and collaboration with nursing and allied health professionals regarding assessment findings, patient health concerns, and following the patient’s plan of care. Through this range of clinical experience, you will gain knowledge, confidence and build teamwork among your peers through shared experiences. Qualifications for this position include the completion of at least one clinical level of nursing school, and you must be willing to work 24 hours per month.
