Location: Multiple Locations

Hourly Rate: $15-18 depending on location+ MUST have customer service experience

The Spirit of the Position:

Our Porter/Customer Service Representativeare essential to our success because they retain and extract more value from customers and deliver top-notch service that cultivates loyalty and promotes referral business. This role is forall janitorial responsibilities for garages and surface lots ensuring they are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Interface with customers, handle disputes, provide effective communication between departments, co-workers, customers and clients.

Primary duties include interacting with customers daily via phone and email to communicate helpful solutions to questions, respond to customer issues, and resolve complaints in a timely manner. The CSR is also responsible for maintaining expert knowledge about the parking, maintenance, and enforcement operations across MNR Stations to best serve and assist customers. Excellentcommunication abilities and data entry skills are essential. This position reports to the CSR Lead.

What will I do?

  • Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, painting etc.
  • Assist with facilities upkeep including repairs and handyperson jobs (cleaning & clearing sidewalks and garages).
  • May need to operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber to ensure floors are clean and safe.
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with our parking products and services.
  • Alert customers to additional products or services that may be available.
  • Maintain expert knowledge about the parking and enforcement operation and communicate accurate information about applicable policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Respond to customer phone calls, voice messages and emails promptly.
  • Guide customers through the permit application, extension, and cancellation process.
  • Adhere to established policies and standardized responses when addressing routine inquiries.
  • Diffuse and de-escalate potential conflicts or other difficult customer-service related challenges.
  • Collaborate with other customer service/call center team members to find appropriate solutions and improve customer service.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and general MS Office applications.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Excellent phone interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend English language.
  • Able to work without supervision.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift..
