About the Role

We are seeking experienced, passionate Preschool Campus Directors to lead our new Rockville and Olney schools. This is a full-time leadership role, starting at $70,000+, commensurate with credentials and experience.

As a Campus Director, you’ll serve as the heart of your school—supporting teachers, partnering with families, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences for every child.

What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and inspire a team of early childhood educatorsEnsure the health, safety, and well-being of all childrenMaintain compliance with MSDE Office of Child Care regulations and NAEYC standardsFoster strong, positive relationships with families, staff, and the broader communitySupport enrollment growth and promote your campus within the communityManage campus operations, staffing, and budgeting with confidence and care

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related fieldMSDE 90-Hour Preschool Certification or CDA with Preschool Endorsement (as required)Ideal Experience & Skills

5+ years of leadership experience in early childhood educationExperience leading a campus serving 100–150 childrenStrong knowledge of child development and instructional best practicesProven ability to lead teams with warmth, professionalism, and consistencyFinancial and operational management experience, including budgetingIn-depth knowledge of MSDE regulations and NAEYC AccreditationStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and education-related technology tools

Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must submit to and successfully pass a state and federal background check as a contingency of employment. Applicants for our federal center campuses must receive GSA-security clearance through a government background screening.

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Rockville, Maryland)
70,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Olney, Maryland)
70,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Congressional Plaza)
