Parts Driver at Peak Kia - Littleton – Littleton, Colorado

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Load and unload automotive parts and accessories onto delivery vehicles, ensuring items are securely packed and organized for transport.

· Safely operate delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols to ensure the safe and timely delivery of parts to customers and other departments.

· Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers, service technicians, and other departments in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of items.

· Verify the accuracy of parts orders and delivery documents, including invoices, packing slips, and delivery receipts, to ensure all items are accounted for and delivered correctly.

· Collect payments from customers for parts orders delivered, when applicable, and return payments and receipts to the dealership promptly.

· Knowledge of taking payments when on and off dealership property.

· Maintain delivery vehicles in clean and good working conditions, performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs as needed to ensure safe and reliable operation.

· Communicate effectively with parts department staff, service technicians, and other departments to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns related to parts deliveries.

· Provide exceptional customer service to customers, greeting them courteously upon delivery, answering any questions or inquiries they may have, and addressing any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption records, to track delivery activities and expenses.

· Keep up to date with training (KPA, Wizer, Sales, etc.).

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in designated areas as per company policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with Federal Trade Commission regulations.

· All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Previous experience in delivery driving or related field is preferred.

· Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is beneficial.

· Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining delivery records and documentation.

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Basic mechanical skills for performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
