About This Position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor, to lead our multifamily property maintenance team in Athens, GA. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance of apartment homes, appliances, plumbing and electrical systems, HVAC units, Boilers and other critical infrastructure. Your leadership will drive proactive maintenance strategies, manage maintenance projects, and foster a safety-first culture. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and possesses strong maintenance and electrical expertise to keep our apartment community running smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the maintenance team to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, electrical systems, HVAC units, Boilers and facility infrastructure.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
Oversee troubleshooting of work orders, on calls, budget management, scheduling
Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage and low voltage systems), machinery operation, and facilities management.
Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities while maintaining high safety standards.
Train and mentor team members in best practices for industrial maintenance, schematic reading, mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within a multilfamily apartment community
Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, electrical, plumbing and appliances
Hands-on experience and certification with CMMS software, CPO certification, HVAC /EPA certification, Boiler Certification and property maintenance
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Supervising experience in a multifamily maintenance is highly preferred.
Fluency in English with strong communication skills for team coordination and safety reporting.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to multifamily property maintenance
