Position Overview

The Operations & Customer Service Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our residential, subscription-based trash service. This position serves as a central hub between customers, internal administrative functions, and field operations, ensuring a seamless service experience from onboarding through ongoing support.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity for professional growth within a growing service-based company.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Support

Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms

Provide prompt, professional, and solution-oriented support to resolve service issues, billing questions, and general inquiries

Manage customer expectations and ensure a positive, consistent service experience

Account Management & Onboarding

Assist with onboarding new customers, including account setup and service education

Maintain and update customer subscription accounts, ensuring accuracy of service details and preferences

Monitor account activity and proactively address potential issues

Billing & Administrative Support

Support billing operations, including invoicing, payment processing, and tracking account balances

Assist with resolving billing discrepancies and updating account information as needed

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and service data

Operations Coordination

Collaborate with operations and field teams to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations

Communicate service updates, route changes, or issues between internal teams and customers

Help troubleshoot service disruptions and coordinate timely resolutions

Administrative & Process Improvement

Perform general administrative tasks to support daily office operations

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, customer communication, and operational efficiency

Contribute to initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and overall service quality

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in customer service, operations coordination, or administrative support

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and CRM or billing systems is a plus

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and team-oriented approach
