Position Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician

Description

 We're Hiring: Apartment Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) - JOIN A TOP 10 NATIONAL COMPANY
Location: Afton Oaks Apartments, Baton Rouge
Pay: $19-22/hour + Bonuses $3,000+ a year
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30AM5:30PM with on-call rotation every 4th week

What Youll Be Doing
  • Completing work orders efficiently and professionally
  • Preparing units between residents (make-readies)
  • Painting, staining, and light carpentry
  • Preventative maintenance and exterior repairs
  • Occasional on-call coverage (just one property!)
  • Supporting housing inspections and safety protocols
Skills We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of general maintenance experience
  • 6+ months apartment maintenance experience
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair skills
  • HVAC repair experience and EPA certification a plus
  • Pool experience and CPO certification preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset
  • Willingness to complete basic safety training within 30 days
A hands-on skills demo will be part of the interview process.
