About This Position
Our Wheeler Telematics Technology Team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Software Telematics Support Specialist. This role is responsible for managing telematics subscriptions and maintaining asset ownership records for both customers and Wheeler.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work environment by following safety protocols and supporting an accident-free workplace.
- Administer telematics subscriptions—including tracking, activations, updates, and cancellations—for customer-facing Caterpillar applications such as VisionLink.
- Coordinate billing for internal and customer telematics subscriptions, including invoicing, purchase order processing, and customer payment management.
- Ensure customer and Wheeler-connected equipment is properly subscribed and accurately reporting data across Caterpillar applications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer asset ownership records within Wheeler and Caterpillar systems.
- Work full-time, in-office, eight-hour daytime shift, Monday through Friday.

- Self-starter with a willingness to ask questions and follow up.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Comfortable using mobile devices (iPhone and/or Android).
- High school diploma or certificate of completion.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and technology, including VisionLink.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Accounts payable or receiving experience is a plus
- Experience with DBS, SIS, or other Caterpillar applications.
- Background in the construction industry.
- Customer service or support experience.
- Prior experience working for a Caterpillar dealer.
- Associate degree or higher in business, technology, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional visits to customer worksites and/or offices.
