Female Caregiver – Wimberley, TX (Hospice Client) at Halcyon Home LLC – Texas City, Texas

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable female caregiver to assist a hospice client in Wimberley, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with transfers, mobility, and fall prevention
• Reposition client every 2–3 hours
• Provide toileting assistance and manage briefs (client wears briefs at all times)
• Support with light housekeeping and laundry
• Offer companionship and comfort care

Client Needs:
Client is mostly in bed/recliner, uses a walker (not accessible in bathroom), and requires hands-on assistance with daily care.

Additional Details:

• Work alongside husband (primary caregiver)
• Must communicate at start of shift for daily care needs
• Enter through back gate and ensure it is securely latched (dogs on property)

Requirements:

• Reliable, patient, and compassionate
• Experience with hospice or personal care preferred

Qualifications:

• COVID vaccinated (or willing to be vaccinated)
• CNA license or CMA license is a plus!
• Must have current driver’s license or state identification.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to assignments.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and be competent to perform tasks assigned by Supervisor or Scheduler.
• Must agree to and pass a criminal history check, an Employee Misconduct Registry check and 3 year driving record.
• Willing to work at least 8 hours per week(can be multiple short shifts)
