Position Overview:
The RPM Manager oversees daily operations of the Remote Patient Monitoring program, ensuring high-quality patient care, strong patient engagement, and compliance with clinical and billing standards.
- Oversee patient enrollments and disenrollments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper patient education
- Manage patient engagement initiatives, including text campaigns, call lists, and outreach workflows
- Conduct daily audits of coordinator performance (documentation, vitals review, time tracking, and billing metrics)
- Monitor urgent and out-of-range vitals and ensure appropriate escalation protocols are followed
- Lead biweekly performance check-ins and track coordinator KPIs
- Collaborate with leadership on staffing, performance, and program improvements
- Manage RPM devices, vendor communication (e.g., Tenovi), and support tickets
- Oversee device inventory, returns, and redistribution
- Supervise staff, including timecards, PTO, performance reviews, and coaching
- Coordinate with IT, facilities, and clinic teams to resolve operational issues
- Ensure all daily tasks and reporting are completed
Qualifications:
- Required: Medical Assistant (MA) certification or diploma from an accredited program (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Experience in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), healthcare operations, or a primary care setting
- Strong understanding of compliance, clinical documentation, and vital sign monitoring/review
- Proven leadership experience managing staff in a healthcare environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
