ABOUT HEADS UP TECHNOLOGIES
Heads Up Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing the incoming and outgoing shipments of goods and materials. This role involves verifying shipment contents, maintaining accurate records, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. While experience in shipping and receiving is preferred, we are also open to training the right individual. Your keen attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential attributes for success in this role.
POSITION OVERVIEW
· Work Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
· Location: This is a full-time onsite position located in Addison, TX.
· Compensation: Based on background, experience and comprehensive benefits package.
- Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- This position is under Heads Up Technologies but will be working in the Alto Aviation business unit. A new employee to the organization will be employed by Alto Aviation
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, defects, or discrepancies.
- Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of incoming and outgoing products.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipping and receiving issues.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Adhere to strict quality standards and safety protocols.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
· Experience with inventory management software preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
