Position Summary: The Application Manager provides technical leadership and operationalsupport for district software applications that support instructional, administrative, andoperational functions. This role supports the research, analysis, and resolution of applicationneeds and system issues and assists end users with the effective use of applications across
school sites and district departments.The Application Manager leads the maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of multipleapplications, ensuring system reliability, accuracy, and timely delivery of system outputs. Thisrole provides direct assistance and guidance to end users, develops and maintains technicaland user documentation, supports system administration and batch processing activities, andprovides coaching and support to peers and colleagues within IT and across the organization.Work is performed under general direction and requires collaboration with cross-functional
teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or the
ability to demonstrate the necessary technical skills for the role.
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in application management, information systems, or the
computer science field.
