Technical Business Development Manager, AI & Robotics
About Your Next Opportunity We are seeking a Technical Business Development Manager, Robotics & AI with a strong technical background and keen business acumen. This is more than a sales role; you will be the critical technical bridge between our R&D team and our clients. You will dive deep into the product roadmaps and challenges of the world's top tech companies, translating our cutting-edge technology into solutions that meet their needs and building long-term strategic partnerships. This is a unique opportunity to work with industry-definers and directly influence the future of our product.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Technical Pre-Sales & Solution Architecture: Lead the technical engagement with clients, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and designing preliminary integration solutions tailored to their specific use cases. Client Requirement Discovery & Translation: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, expertly uncovering, understanding, and defining their product needs. Translate ambiguous business concepts into clear technical specifications for our internal engineering teams. Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted, and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, product, and procurement teams at our target accounts. Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop: Gather and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to provide invaluable, real-world insights that shape our product development and market strategy. Ecosystem Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships, expanding the application boundaries of our technology.
Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience in Technical Business Development, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management in Humanoid Robotics (e.g., motion planning, control systems, SLAM), Computer Vision (e.g., object detection, image recognition, 3D reconstruction), or Motion Capture or Human Tracking Systems. Exceptional English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical experts and business executives. Currently based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications Direct experience working with major US tech companies (e.g., Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon, NVIDIA) or leading robotics firms (e.g., Boston Dynamics, Agility Robotics). Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce). Familiarity with simulation environments like Unreal Engine, Unity, or NVIDIA Isaac Sim. A self-starter attitude with a high degree of comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, startup environment. Demonstrated strong learning agility, a passion for problem-solving, and immense growth potential.
