MidAtlantic Finance in Clearwater, FL is currently hiring Bilingual Auto Loan Underwriters to be an essential part of our company’s growth! You should have a minimum of ONE YEAR of sales, customer service or auto finance.

If you describe yourself as professional, friendly and outgoing with a great attention to detail, we are looking for you! Someone who works well in a team environment, and has strong computer and organizational skills. Bilingual English/Spanish, is preferred.

The ideal candidate should be willing to learn new ideas, procedures, and concepts. You will work in a fast paced environment with customers and automobile dealers. Prior auto loan underwriting experience is helpful.

What You'll Do:

• Introduces self and company to each customer.
• Identifies and develop new business opportunities within the independent auto market.
• Meets or exceeds monthly and annual sales targets.
• Analyzes credit reports, income documentation.
• Reviews and analyzes auto loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and creditworthiness.
• Corresponds directly with independent auto dealers to negotiate terms.
• Communicates with automobile dealers to obtain necessary loan information, consistant follow up on pending applications.
• Monitors Dealer loan performance and identify risk trends.
• Handles inbound and outbound call volume
• Completes additional tasks as needed.

• Organized, ability to multitask and work independently
• Resolve problems and resolve difficult situations for customers using all available resources.
• Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Office and strong mathematical skills
