The eICU nurse (Registered Nurse – RN) is a member of a collaborative care team who is responsible for providing continuous vigilance and tele-nursing care focusing on early intervention to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals with the goal to decrease ICU-related morbidity and mortality. The following features govern the role of the eICU RN: Patient Advocacy, Proactive, continuous monitoring, Prevention, Evidence-based care, Telecommunication, Clinical decision support, Humane, compassionate ethical careSkills / Knowledge / AbilitiesCurrent Kentucky RN state licensure. Three or more years of recent experience as an ICU nurse in the specialty field of adult critical care. Two or more years of experience in a clinical role, which required effectively communicating and collaborating with health care professionals (Charge role, DCN, CNE, Team Lead). Current BLS-Provider course completion. Current ACLS-Provider course completion.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
