POSITION SUMMARY
This is a lead technician position responsible for supporting and developing other technicians in the field to ensure safe, timely, and quality service for our customers. Additionally, this role also repairs and maintains all dock and door equipment.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Train newer field techs and trainees and show them how to repair and PM all types of dock and door equipment
- Answer, prioritize, and respond to service inquiries on field work. Will take lead on larger install jobs.
- Will have several large accounts to handle as well as a relatively full work load
- Works with field service technicians needing help with diagnostics, in repairing units with advanced issues and minimizing lost time. Will be called on by techs for repair questions as needed in conjunction with the Service Manager
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Minimum High school diploma or GED
Experience: 3-5 years dock and door experience. Extensive knowledge of equipment repair procedures and techniques.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of internet software and hand held electronic devices.
Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Good verbal and written communication skills. Availability to work overtime and occasional emergency service/call out events in the evenings or on weekends.
