Natural Living Department Manager at Rosauers Supermarkets Inc – Belgrade, Montana

We're looking for enthusiastic team members to be part of something exciting from the very start. This position offers the unique opportunity to join our pre-opening team, with training for your role beginning before our doors open and the chance to help with store setup, so we're ready to deliver the exceptional Rosauers experience our customers know and love from day one.

What You'll Do

• Creating an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
• Welcoming and greeting customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Listening to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need.
• Assist customers with locating products; listen to customer questions and provide customer service.
• Meet and work with vendors monthly and maintain positive and productive relationships with them.
• Order natural living merchandise from approved vendors, collaborate with other stores on items needed.
• Verify billing and paperwork. Record delivery of merchandise, compare records, and report discrepancies.
• Order product weekly, make sure product is displayed, rotate and face daily.
• Inspect incoming products and follow stocking and product procedures.
• Develop display techniques for effective merchandising.
• Check on recalls; remove product and return as directed.
• Review department operating record and make adjustments to meet budget objectives.
• Follow corporate set financial goals and work within the budget.
• Lead and train department employees in their responsibilities; complete employee performance evaluations.
• Work together with the store management team.
• Other duties as assigned.
