This role plays a critical part in shaping commercialization and market strategy for an oncology-focused portfolio, helping translate complex market data into actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making. You will lead the design and execution of primary market research initiatives, supporting both marketed products and pipeline assets across global hematology oncology. Working closely with cross-functional commercial, analytics, and strategy teams, you will ensure research outputs directly inform product planning, positioning, and launch strategies. The position requires a strong blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced, science-driven environment. You will also collaborate with external partners and vendors while ensuring high-quality, compliant research execution. This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and healthcare innovation.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design, execution, and management of primary market research projects supporting both marketed and pipeline oncology assets.
  • Identify and define key business questions, aligning stakeholders on objectives, methodologies, and actionable insights.
  • Translate complex market research findings into strategic recommendations that inform commercialization, product strategy, and launch planning.
  • Integrate primary research insights with secondary data, forecasting models, and commercial analytics to build a holistic market view.
  • Conduct and oversee compliant market research activities while ensuring quality and consistency across studies.
  • Analyze market data, including sizing and competitive assessments, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure insights are effectively shared across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage external vendors and research partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of research outputs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, or PhD) in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 5+ years in consulting, market research, or strategic analysis roles.
  • Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, particularly within the U.S. healthcare market.
  • Oncology experience, especially in launch or pre-launch environments, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies.
  • Experience with secondary data analysis and forecasting models is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional global teams is a strong advantage.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $138,600 to $183,600, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual bonus eligibility and incentive compensation opportunities depending on role type.
  • Equity participation through discretionary stock awards and employee stock purchase plans.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and wellness programs.
  • Retirement savings plans (401k), flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), and financial wellness support.
  • Generous paid time off and flexible work arrangements.
  • Career development opportunities within a global, innovation-driven organization.
  • Exposure to high-impact oncology programs and global commercialization strategies.
