Mon-Fri Day Shift-- Ringgold, GA

$30 per hour and up, depending upon experience

HIRING BONUS upt to $1500 paid after 90 days

Our team is currently looking for a Diesel Technician who is flexible enough to work at our customer's location (use of Service Truck included) OR in the shop, as needed. In this role, technician performs truck and trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Position may be mobile or in shop
• Truck and Trailer Repair Experience Required
• Service and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting and inspections
• Good computer and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Use of Service Truck when working mobile
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

Experience / Education

• Prefer Tech School Diesel Program completion
• Allison Experience or Certificate is a plus!
• Truck & Trailer repair experience required
• Air brake Experience required
• Must be willing to work outside

Certifications / Licenses

• Valid State Driver's License required, CDL is preferred
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medcard
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
