Position Overview
The Contract Manufacturing & Logistics Supervisor oversees all shipping and receiving activities, inventory accuracy, material flow, and contract manufacturing coordination to ensure efficient operations and on-time customer delivery. This role leads day-to-day logistics, inventory control, warehouse functions, and production support while upholding quality standards, driving 6S practices, and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
· Direct all Shipping & Receiving activities to ensure outbound orders ship on time and inbound materials are accurately received and processed
· Coordinate daily with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and Contract Manufacturing partners to prioritize customer orders and production requirements
· Oversee contract manufacturing operations, including scheduling, material coordination, inventory transfers, and communication with external manufacturing partners
· Manage team schedules and daily workflow
· Support hands-on warehouse operations including picking, packing, and shipping orders as needed
· Perform accuracy checks on outbound freight shipments to ensure customer requirements and shipping specifications are met
· Coordinate inbound freight scheduling with Purchasing and vendors, balancing delivery timelines and transportation costs
· Work with freight carriers to schedule pickups, resolve delays, manage claims, and maintain delivery performance
· Enter landed costs into the ERP system to ensure accurate inventory valuation and shipment costing
· Receive, organize, and manage spare parts inventory and storage locations
· Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy by researching and resolving discrepancies
· Implement process improvements to reduce inventory variances and improve warehouse efficiency
· Process and distribute inbound parcel shipments in a timely manner
· Monitor and organize inventory movement between internal operations and contract manufacturing locations
· Foster a well-trained, motivated, and accountable team environment through coaching, training, and leadership support
· Conduct quality inspections, including measurements, testing, and data recording to ensure product compliance and quality standards are met
· Lead production planning and scheduling activities, including coordination of incoming and outgoing materials to support operational efficiency
· Monitor workflow and proactively minimize downtime, production delays, and operational inefficiencies
· Track, analyze, and report operational statistics, productivity metrics, and performance indicators
· Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives across production, logistics, and warehouse operations
· Performs Other duties as assigned
Requirements:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills
· Is capable of operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy shipments
· Ability to work independently and prioritize work with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications
· Related work experience
· Solid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP
· Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

· Non-controlled temperature environment
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
· Occasional exposure to chemicals and powders
