About Credit Key
Credit Key is on a mission to disrupt B2B lending. We help businesses of every size, including large merchants and growing companies, access the capital they need to run operations, fund growth, and seize opportunities. Whether it’s e-commerce at checkout (think Affirm, Klarna) or paying for invoices, services, and equipment, we make flexible pay-over-time solutions simple and reliable.
We’re a fully funded, fast-growing startup that moves quickly, solves hard problems, and always delivers real value to our customers. Our technology is core to the business, and we constantly innovate while maintaining the stability and reliability of the systems that got us here.
What you'll do
As Director of Partnerships, you will own the full partnership lifecycle from strategy and outbound development through contract execution, activation, and revenue growth.
You will:
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy to acquire new B2B ecommerce marketplaces, fintech platforms, and financial services partners
- Drive predictable pipeline creation by building and refining outbound motion, outreach strategy, and industry engagement
- Own complex deal progression from initial conversation through contract execution, partnering closely with product, legal, compliance, onboarding, marketing, and finance
- Evaluate partnership opportunities through financial modeling and strategic analysis to ensure strong unit economics and long-term value
- Forecast revenue accurately and hold accountability for partner performance post-launch
- Influence internal product and roadmap discussions based on partner and market insights
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales or partnerships experience specifically within B2B payments, ecommerce, fintech, or financial services - Candidates without direct experience in at least two of these verticals will not be considered
- Demonstrated success selling to or partnering with ecommerce platforms, B2B marketplaces, payment service providers (PSPs), or fintech infrastructure providers, with verifiable examples of deals sourced, structured, and closed
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to C-level stakeholders and managing objections in real time
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to structure and close complex partnership agreements
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through partnership generation and channel development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and perform well under pressure
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a consistent drive to exceed goals and expectations
- Team-first mindset with a desire to contribute to broader organizational priorities beyond immediate responsibilities
