Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems (NBH) has been providing mental health and substance abuse services to residents across Nevada. By collaborating with a diverse network of experienced behavioral healthcare providers, we have built a community-based care system that offers members personalized options tailored to their individual needs. In 2023, we rebranded as Novum/Health with the expansion of our services in Arizona, California, and Utah.
Position: Supervisor
Schedule: Graveyard Shift (9:30 pm – 6:00 am)
Work: Sunday - Thursday
Off: Friday and Saturday.

Starting Salary Range: $24.00 per hour
The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.
Job Summary:
The Graveyard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center during the overnight shift. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment for both clients and staff. The supervisor leads a team of Ambassadors, Leads, and Facility Technicians, ensuring that all assigned duties are completed effectively and documented accurately. Additionally, the supervisor monitors staff performance, submits shift reports, and collaborates with leadership to improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Supervision & Leadership
• Assign tasks to Ambassadors, Leads, and Facility Technicians to ensure efficient overnight operations.
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, support, and corrective action as needed.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that aligns with the organization’s mission.
2. Operational Oversight
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for clients and staff during the graveyard shift.
Conduct regular walk-throughs of the facility to identify and address safety concerns.
Respond to incidents, de-escalate conflicts, and ensure proper reporting and documentation.
Ensure that program rules and procedures are followed consistently by staff and clients.
3. Documentation & Reporting
• Ensure that all staff complete the required data entry and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Complete and submit an end-of-shift report detailing key incidents, staffing updates, and any operational concerns.
Maintain accurate logs of client interactions, security issues, and any maintenance needs.
4. Communication & Coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact for staff during the graveyard shift.
Communicate effectively with leadership and other shifts to ensure seamless transitions.
Attend required management meetings to provide updates and feedback on graveyard operations.
5. Additional Duties
• Assist in training and onboarding new graveyard staff as needed.
Support emergency response efforts in coordination with leadership and external agencies.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a homeless service, social services, or emergency shelter setting.
Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, or substance use disorders.
Proficiency in documentation and data entry.
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, overnight position with required zoom attendance at management meetings as scheduled.
