We are seeking a skilled IT Network Support Engineer responsible for managing enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, and handling security operations. The role involves hands-on experience with firewalls, servers, virtualization, and troubleshooting network-related issues across corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities:Network & Infrastructure Management- Administer and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks ensuring high availability and performance
- Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches (Cisco), and wireless infrastructure
- Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and switching technologies
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify bottlenecks or vulnerabilities
- Configure and manage firewalls (Sophos, Checkpoint) including NAT, VPN, and security policies
- Implement and maintain IPS/IDS, DMZ architecture, and SSL/TLS inspection rules
- Monitor network traffic using tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, and SolarWinds
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2012 R2 / 2016) environments
- Manage Active Directory infrastructure including GPO, LDAP, FSMO roles, and replication
- Administer core services such as DNS, DHCP, and backup systems
- Handle virtualization platforms like Hyper-V and VMware
- Configure and support VPN solutions including IPsec, SSL, and Site-to-Site VPNs
- Manage secure remote access for users and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Perform routine hardware and software maintenance across systems
- Provide L2/L3 support for network and system-related incidents
- Follow ITIL processes including incident management, change management, and patch management
- Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides
- Support Office 365 configuration and user management
- Configure and troubleshoot email systems and end-user connectivity
- Provide technical support for hardware, OS (Windows/Linux/Mac), and network issues
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (OSI Model, TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing Protocols)
- Hands-on experience with firewall configuration (Sophos/Checkpoint preferred)
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Experience with network monitoring and security tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nmap)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / IT or related field
- Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / Microsoft Certified / Security certifications are an advantage
- Experience in corporate or enterprise IT environments
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-user environment
- Good communication and documentation skills
