Senior SAP Developer (TM) in India at Jobgether

This role focuses on delivering and enhancing SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions within large-scale global rollouts. You will contribute to the design, configuration, and development of SAP TM templates, ensuring they align with global architecture standards while meeting local business needs. The position plays a key role in enabling efficient transportation planning, execution, and optimization across complex supply chain networks. You will work closely with international stakeholders, integration partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless system interoperability across SAP and non-SAP environments. With a strong emphasis on technical excellence and scalable design, this role requires deep SAP TM expertise combined with hands-on development capabilities. • Participate in global SAP TM template workshops and contribute to the design and rollout of standardized transportation solutions.
• Develop and configure SAP TM local templates as part of global implementation programs.
• Design, build, and enhance SAP TM applications using ABAP, ABAP OO, BOPF, BRF+, CDS Views, OData, and SAP Fiori/UI5 technologies.
• Support transportation planning processes including routing, carrier selection, optimization profiles, freight units, freight orders, and charge management.
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP ECC/S/4HANA modules (EWM, GTS, VIM) as well as external systems using EDI, IDocs, APIs, and web services.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful global rollout and system integration.
• Ensure adherence to SAP clean core principles for long-term system stability and maintainability.
• Support transition of deployed SAP TM solutions from project to product or operational teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, issue analysis, and optimization of SAP TM functionalities.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (embedded or decentralized).
• Proven expertise in ABAP and ABAP OO development for SAP TM solutions.
• Solid knowledge of BOPF, BRF+, CDS Views, OData services, FPM, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Experience working with SAP TM core processes including freight planning, execution, charge management, and carrier integration.
• Strong integration experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems via EDI, APIs, and IDocs.
• Good understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, particularly transportation planning and execution.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and SAP configurations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with experience working in global, cross-functional environments.
