Pierson Concrete Construction Co. is hiring a Senior Concrete Flatwork Finisher to lead high-quality concrete finishing work on residential and commercial jobs. This hands-on position is ideal for an experienced craftsperson ready to take ownership of flatwork operations, including screeding, joint cutting, grading, and mentoring junior crew members. Youll play a key role in delivering durable, precise, and beautiful concrete surfaceson time and to spec.

• Smooth, edge, trowel, and finish poured concrete surfaces to specified textures

• Set grades and screed marks with precision, without supervision

• Cut expansion joints using hand and power tools

• Read and interpret plans, shop drawings, and layout specifications

• Place and finish curb, gutter, sidewalks, and other flatwork forms independently

• Mentor and provide on-the-job training to less experienced finishers

• Assist with layout, form setup, and alignment

• Maintain a clean, safe job site and adhere to safety procedures

• Complete tasks with minimal supervision while coordinating with crew leadership

• Other duties as assigned

• Proven experience as a Flatwork Finisher 2 or equivalent senior-level finishing experience

• Ability to edge and hand trowel slabs, including final pass

• Strong understanding of concrete finishing tools and techniques

• Ability to read blueprints and rebar shop drawings

• Math skills including slope and percentage calculations

• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working in variable outdoor conditions

• Willingness to travel to job sites in and around the Loveland, CO area

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality craftsmanship
