As an Online Order Shopper & Catering Delivery Driver, you play a critical role in delivering the Joseph’s Classic Market experience beyond our store walls. From shopping online orders to delivering and setting up catering orders, you serve as the final checkpoint and the face of our brand beyond the store — ensuring every order is accurate, organized, and presented with care because the final impression matters.

Routine Tasks:

• Shop and prepare online customer orders accurately and efficiently within the store
• Assist customers at the catering desk by answering questions and helping place catering orders as needed
• Perform a final quality check on all online and catering orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy and presentation
• Confirm all required items are included, such as plasticware, napkins, catering trays, sternos, sauces, dressings, and other accompaniments
• Load, transport, and safely deliver online and catering orders using a company vehicle
• Set up catering orders at off-site locations according to customer expectations and service standards
• Serve as the final checkpoint and the face of the Joseph’s Classic Market brand beyond the store
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and on-site interactions
• Communicate order issues or discrepancies promptly to store leadership
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area and delivery vehicle
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Prior food, grocery, or catering delivery experience preferred 
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 
• Basic math and reading skills 
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Team player with a professional, service-oriented attitude 
• A passion for serving people

Physical & Work Environment:

This role works both in-store and at off-site delivery locations. It requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40–50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Associates will operate a company-provided delivery vehicle and may be exposed to varying temperatures, including freezers, refrigerators, and outdoor conditions. Frequent customer interaction is an essential part of the role.
