About This Position
G‑3 Chickadee—formerly part of Goodyear Chemical—is undergoing a major transformation. As a newly independent, Private Equity–backed organization, we are modernizing our infrastructure, implementing new systems (SAP, MES, cybersecurity), and building a strong operational foundation for continued growth.
We are seeking a Customer Supply Chain Lead, reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Manager, to play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by managing the full order-to-delivery process. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers after order placement, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external logistics partners to meet service expectations.
- Manage customer purchase orders in SAP from order entry through shipment and delivery.
- Serve as the main customer contact for order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with warehouses, transportation providers, and freight forwarders to ensure product availability and shipment readiness.
- Monitor and track open domestic and export sales orders daily to prevent service disruptions.
- Prepare and maintain export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer master data and requirements within SAP.
- Partner with Commercial Sales and Supply Chain teams to resolve order conflicts and meet customer service expectations.
- Lead communication with customers regarding product or service concerns and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage returns, replacements, and product disposition decisions while balancing customer needs and company cost considerations.
- Support onboarding of new customers by gathering requirements and ensuring operational readiness.
What You Bring
Required
- Associates degree or 8–10 years of experience in export logistics or chemical/industrial markets.
- 3–5 years of customer-focused experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 3–5 years of experience using SAP Sales Order modules.
Preferred
- Experience in chemical, polymer, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing both domestic and international logistics.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills
