Overview

You represent the Legacy mission in all you do. Your strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills inspire your work transporting passenger, supplies, mail and other items in a timely manner. In short, you help make life better for others.

Responsibilities

Transports passengers, materials, supplies, equipment, mail, legal documents or other freight as needed, to and from vendors, among various Legacy operating units, and/or to other service sites using Legacy-owned vehicles. Acts as a representative of Legacy Health by establishing excellent relations with all clients.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior experience driving a vehicle 20 or more feet long is required. Experience in providing customer service is preferred.

Skills:

Ability to drive vans, buses and medium-duty trucks in congested and narrow city streets.

Good customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

May require ability to use hand trucks, large carts, pallet jacks and other freight-handling equipment.

May require simple data entry and ten-key, basic alphabetizing and balancing of daily cash register receipts.
